Both Maxmart Shipping and CMS bring with them a comprehensive insight into the Taiwanese market, having been active within it for a number of decades, with Maxmart Shipping providing professional brokerage services and CMS delivering a range of offshore surveying services.

A sentiment shared by James Chang, President of Maxmart Shipping, who added, “Maxmart is really excited about the opportunity to work with SMC and CMS. With their expertise and our local connections, I believe we can form a strong consulting group focusing on Taiwan’s offshore wind”.

The partnership will allow project developers to maximise project efficiency and to work to the highest safety standards, whilst building essential skill-sets by providing both theoretical and practical knowledge to local communities and businesses alike. The partnership is committed to maximising opportunities for people within the region and the delivery of industry specific training is core to achieving this. It is SMC’s ambition to train and work with local people to assist in developing the Taiwanese market, alongside the company’s key partners, Maxmart Shipping and CMS.
