SMC ESTABLISH EAST-ANGLIAN PRESENCE
In January 2018 SMC opened their new office at OrbisEnergy, Lowestoft.
Over the past 11 years the company has grown dramatically, with this latest expansion taking place in concurrence with what is an extremely exciting time for the Energy sector in East Anglia.
OrbisEnergy is a premier centre of excellence for offshore renewables based in the East of England.
It is a prime location for the development of large Offshore Wind Farms and the Gas Industry in the Southern North Sea.
Commenting on the opening of the new office, SMC’s Operations Director, Dean Coates said, “Our office at OrbisEnergy, the Offshore Renewable Energy hub in Lowestoft, provides SMC with a permanent presence local to the area.
This considerably enhances our ability in providing specialist solutions and support to existing and future Wind Farms Offshore East Anglia; and the energy sector as a whole.”
As part of their commitment to the region of East Anglia, SMC are now members of EEEGR (East of England Energy Group), and look forward to working with the organisation across the energy sectors in the coming years.
