THE ROLE

Description
As a Troubleshooter you will support the annual service & maintenance teams.
Tasks will include:
  • Identify common, reoccurring, and major component faults.
  • Develop advanced troubleshooting knowledge and skills on site.
  • Troubleshoots problems on systems in areas where duly trained/certified.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance on site; Substation, Accommodation Platform (Poseidon), other offshore facilities inclusive foundation, TP, SCADA, cranes etc.
  • May act as Appointed Person or Appointed Person Trainer to sign off on the development of individuals.
  • Maintaining and following  the safety procedures as required under the Agreement and Company policy.
  • Lead teams conducting scheduled maintenance on wind turbines, foundation structures, offshore substations and all associated plant and apparatus at a consistent high level of efficiency and quality.
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance and fault finding on wind turbines.
  • Optimise the services campaign, work processes and propose improvements.
  • Ensure the validity of own safety certificates; Global Wind Organisations Standard Basic Safety Training (BST) etc.
  • Responsible for the condition of own safety equipment; Life vest, helmet, fall harness etc. and that the supplied equipment always is ready to use.
  • Deliver to the yearly site plan
  • Utilise software systems to accurately record all elements of your daily work including hours worked, spare parts used and technical work order reports.
  • Prepare and pack spare parts, tools and other equipment for all elements of maintenance work.
  • Assist in large component replacements, retrofit, troubleshooting tasks and other special assignments with supervision.
  • Provide On Job Training to wind technicians in performing unscheduled and scheduled maintenance.
  • General cleaning all over site; Platforms, turbines, onshore facilities, storage, vessels, etc.
  • Be proactive in maintaining competence level required for the job.
